It's a small sprite of MZD's head as an icon that appears on the character select screen. It's the extact same version of the sprite used for the 'chara pop' mod, albeit slightly cleaned up.

Name icon 'MZD' with black font, thick cyan to black gradient outline, and a secondary white outline.

a 2 framed animated paintbrush that is painting cyan, magenta, and yellow streaks.

In this 2P recolor, MZD's entire body, including his clothing, is pitch black. A bright cyan is used to color his outlines. As usual, he has short hair that ends just above the shoulders with long sideburns. Clothing consists of the following; a cap, a very long-sleeved shirt, scarf, shorts, and simple shoes. His accessories include sunglasses and presumably a ring on his left hand, just as he always has worn. Because his sleeves are rather long, his hands stay obscured for the most part.

While everything is black, it's notable that only the lens of his sunglasses are blue and the soles of his shoes. Additionally, his shadow remains the same blue color as the 1P version of this sprite, even though in the portrait it was recolored to be mostly black with a blue gradient towards the top of it's head.
